It’s time to wrap up warm

Unlike last winter, we’ve been forced to wear coats this January. Photo: Marlys Rodríguez

Although winter in Cuba is not very cold, there are times when, due to cold fronts coming from North America, and only for a couple of days (fortunately), temperatures can be lower than average.

December, January, and February are the coolest months in the island. They are the only opportunity we have to wear the coats that have been kept in the closet for months. Nevertheless, it could happen that Mother Nature decides to “punish” us by not sending any cold weather at all during these months. It is when I feel completely happy for living in this part of the world.
