Nobody can deny that Trinidad is one of the most beautiful and well preserved cities of the Caribbean. It is for good reason that this ancient village has been called an “outdoor museum” by many.
Trinidad was declared a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1988. Nowadays, thousands of people choose this city to spend a holiday every year. It could be said that visitors come looking for its interesting history, but once there, they stay for Trinidad beach life, and intimate small-town atmosphere.
Trinidad is not just famous for its colonial town center, surrounded by museums and historic buildings; it also stands out for its wonderful Playa Ancon, Trinidad’s main beach, also recognized as one of Cuba’s best.
This year Trinidad gets one year older, yet it does its best to continue being a great place for relaxing in safe atmosphere under the warm sun of the island.
