Frederich Cepeda, beloved son of the Holy Spirit Village

Charismatic baseball player Frederich Cepeda was invited to give an online interview on Escambray, which he did yesterday afternoon.

The outstanding outfielder kindly answered some 100 questions from his fans, most of whom wanted to know details about his upcoming trip to Japan.

Cepeda signed a contract with the Yomiuri Giants, thus being the first active Cuban player to participate in the Nippon Baseball (NPB).

He is a regular player for the local baseball team known as The Roosters, in which he wears T-shirt number 24.

He’s very much admired in Sancti Spiritus, as well as in the rest of the island because of his honesty, good character, and, above all, because of the fact that he’s not conceited at all.
