Sancti Spiritus residents are once again involved in the so-called Winter Moons Festival. The four-day celebration is kind of street theatre event, in which many local and guest artists take part in outdoor performances.
The inauguration of the festival always takes place at one important landmark, followed by the traditional parade along the main streets of the city.
The artists are dressed in attractive costumes, and show the audience what their talent is about.
This year’s celebration is a very particular one, since it’s dedicated to the upcoming 500th anniversary of the village, and the 20th of the creation of the local Garabato Project.
